Janice Chang was born and raised in California and is currently based in Los Angeles. After studying illustration at college she started working in design for animation and advertising before landing a job at a motion studio.
Janice is now pursuing her main passion, editorial illustration, using a fluid style to reflect movement and often humour as a way to engage viewers in conversations about social and interpersonal issues. Through her work, she strives to help brands that are focused on social and ethical issues to tell their story.
Her clients include Apple, The New York Times, The Atlantic, Wired, The Wall Street Journal, BuzzFeed and Vice. She has also won several awards with American Illustration, the Society of Illustrators, the 3x3 International Illustration Show and Creative Quarterly.
