Ming Tang-Evans

This London-based photographer’s work centres around food but also spans interiors, portraiture and travel.

Ming’s editorial images have featured in a wide variety of titles, including Condé Nast Traveller, Wallpaper* City Guides, LUX Magazine, Olive and Time Out. He has also worked with landmark hotels, restaurants and food and drink brands on a diverse range of commissions. Among them are Acqua Bianca (De Kuyper Royal Distillers), Hakkasan Group, The Dorchester Collection, Raffles Hotels and Resorts, Laurent-Perrier and Tesco Home.

He says his trademark is being “lightweight”. Physically, in a studio or on location, his equipment packs down to airline carry-on, and in the artistic sense, he doesn’t bring “creative baggage” to a brief, but instead is open to ideas that are sympathetic and authentic.

Ming’s personal projects include street photography and landscapes. His most recent work includes a renewed interest in botanical still life and abstracts.
